The EFA Training Pathway

EFA is structured to be intentional, organized, and focused on long-term player development. Every athlete enters through a clear process that helps us place them in the right training environment.

Registration

Families begin by registering interest through PlayMetrics or an EFA interest form. This allows us to gather basic information, availability, and training goals before moving forward.

Evaluation

Evaluations are used for training pods and individual training only. This step helps us understand a player’s current level, learning style, and developmental needs. Not every player will be placed immediately, as availability and fit are important to maintaining training quality.

Camps and clinics are open entry, and players may join those at any time without an evaluation.

Placement

Based on evaluation results and availability, players are placed into the training option that best fits them:

  • Training Pods are grouped by age and level
  • Elite Pods are invite-only
  • Individual Training is limited and offered to select players

Players selected for individual training will be assigned to an EFA coach based on their specific needs, goals, and scheduling fit. This ensures each athlete receives the right type of coaching while maintaining consistency and quality across all sessions.

This pathway allows EFA to remain club-neutral, intentional, and focused on helping players succeed within their current club environment while continuing to develop at a high level.
